Delivering a Better Tomorrow

Why we exist

The world is changing, it’s easy to lose sight of what’s truly important – investing in our communities, and the places and people that make them. It’s time to create a world leading city region for Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole - one of the best coastal places in which to live, work, invest and play and this is what we will do. This is FuturePlaces.

At FuturePlaces we create places with liveability and quality at the centre. Through real-estate and whole place development we drive opportunities for investment. We build places that are thriving whilst enabling communities to live more sustainable, healthy and happy lives.

Working as a bridge between BCP Council and the property investment and development markets, FuturePlaces bring expertise in best practice sustainable placemaking, enabling delivery and stewardship to secure the best regenerative development outcomes for our communities.

Our Values

What we stand for

We are focused on working with development and investment partners who are equally committed to regenerative development to achieve our shared goals. We work hard to smooth the path for those partners, supporting them throughout the development path to deliver focused regeneration - brilliantly.

We are committed to taking the best of a place and making it even better. FuturePlaces work with partners to deliver sustainable mixed use and walkable places – places that work with the natural aspects of each location – to inspire and bring value to our communities.

Driving quality

We champion quality design leadership and excellence in build and delivery management. We work with our partners to achieve creative, sustainable and resilient solutions that are imbued with quality from their conception to completion.

With every project we gain a deep understanding of local aspirations, needs and attitudes - before, during and following development. We always engage meaningfully and wholeheartedly with communities and stakeholders to understand both the ambitions and the opportunities for a place.

Our Commitment

We look to build long term value in all that we do. Responding to the government's 'Building Better Building Beautiful' Commission setting out future planning policy, we are committed to putting beauty and placemaking at the heart of development through long term investment.

Taking a bold and unique approach we create beautiful and sustainable places for people. We deliver economically vibrant but affordable places in neighbourhoods where families have good livelihoods, and where communities have a sense of belonging.

To bring investment into our community and generate value.

To prioritise our communities and our people in everything that we do.

To create beautiful places to a consistently high standard with focus on both quality and sustainability.

To deliver quality, creative developments that inspire and push boundaries, while remaining at harmony with the environment.

To establish places with longevity, that secure sustainability and resilience.

Our sites

Investing in our community

With our regenerative sites across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole offering a combined gross development value of over £2bn, we are looking to work with partners to create incredible places for our communities by delivering long term sustainable investments that benefit our people.
